Communications

The National Healthcare & Leadership Consortium leverages digital communications to inform, educate, and advocate for equitable, inclusive, and innovative healthcare practices. Through impactful storytelling, awareness-building campaigns, and community-driven dialogue, our communications efforts amplify key healthcare issues and mobilize action across the field.

Each year, we run six virtual social media campaigns aligned with national health observances, engaging healthcare professionals, organizations, and communities in critical conversations around awareness, prevention, and leadership.

Annual Awareness Campaigns

1. Cancer Prevention Month (February)
We spotlight early detection, screening access, and lifestyle changes that can reduce cancer risk. This campaign highlights disparities in cancer outcomes and promotes culturally sensitive education and resources.

2. Women’s Health Week (May)
Celebrating National Women’s Health Week, this campaign focuses on preventive care, reproductive health, mental wellness, and chronic condition management, while uplifting women leaders and advocates in healthcare.

3. Health Equity Week (June)
A bold digital campaign centering on racial, social, and economic equity in healthcare access and outcomes. We share data, real stories, and solutions aimed at closing the health gap for marginalized populations.

4. Mental Health Awareness Month (May)
We raise awareness around mental health stigma, promote access to care, and support workforce well-being—especially within high-stress healthcare environments.

5. Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) *2025
Through education, survivor stories, and screening promotion, this campaign uplifts breast cancer awareness while acknowledging the unique barriers faced by communities of color and underserved populations.

6. Multicultural Health Month (November)
Aligned with National Minority Health Month and cultural observances, this campaign promotes inclusive care practices, language access, and community-based health solutions.
